Our Story

From Yorkshire Fields to French Châteaux

MKN Surveyors began in 2016, but our journey started years before.

Matt Noble built his career working for a Yorkshire country estate before pursuing his professional qualifications at Reading University. In 2014, Matt and Kay moved to France, where Matt worked for one of the largest English-speaking estate agents in the country.


This unique experience revealed a gap in the market – English-speaking property buyers in France struggled to find qualified surveyors who understood both cultures.



After returning to Yorkshire in 2016, we established MKN Surveyors to bridge this gap. Today, we serve clients across Yorkshire and throughout France, combining local knowledge with international expertise.
